Attempted to fix YLOD and works but DVD doesn't.

I used a few videos on youtube (I didn't know about this site when I did this), I took the PS3 apart, did the fix, and it worked! Wait, the DVD I put in didn't eject... crap. After doing the YLOD fix, I found out that the DVD tray had to be reset, I found out how to reset it, I reset it and it still didn't work. Is there a problem with my motherboard?
