What are the last three of your serial number? this will help to properly identify your computer. Any chance you could post an image of your logic board? That way I can make sure we have the right board.

์˜

Last three numbers of serial are: RJ7

Martins Strobinders, does this sound about right?

On the logic board of the MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011), there are two power pads that can be shorted to power on the system. These pads are located above the trackpad flex cable connector and below the had drive flex cable connector. The power-on pads are shiny, silver square, and larger than the other (mostly round) silver pads nearby.

Only short these two pads, and no other pads, or you may damage the logic board. The tip of a T8 or T10 screwdriver is about the right size to touch these two pads, without touching other nearby components.

So on your board they should be right here:

I am not a Mac person and the real experts should probably verify this :-). Hope this helps, good luck.

so i tried that and the hard drive starts spinning, a slight move form the fan and thats it. also the HDD turns off after few seconds.

์˜

at this point it probably will all come down to what is going on with your MBP and why you are trying to start it like this. you did not tell us a whole lot about the original issues etc. The more details that you provide, the more the experts can help you out.

์˜

My MacBook Pro's Logic Board had some water damage. So i tried to clean it and see if it would do anything. I cleaned it whit 99.9% Isopropyl alcohol.

But what happens is when I click the power button the HDD comes on, battery is charging fine. But nothing else, oh, screen flickers sometimes. Read online that this might help it to turn on, by jump starting.

And thats basically is it.

์˜

How bad was the damage? Any outward signs of any corrosion? Besides cleaning it, have you tried anything else?

์˜

There was some green stuff but after cleaning it they disappeared. Can't see any signs of corrosion.

Haven't tried any other methods.
