Runs slowly and then crashes.

My MacBook Pro keeps running extreamly slowly and not opening things and then making the mouse into the waiting sign. Then it will crash. I've tried deleting applications and everything but it didnt help.

Open up Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities) select "macintosh HD" (or whatever your drive is named) from the sidebar, and then hit verify

Does your MacBook Air have a SSD or a HDD? (You can check by going to system profiler)

Could be a bad hard drive, run Disk Utility to verify and repair your drive.
