Large black band on my display
Display show a large black vertical band (5 cm) on the right. Someone can help me? What is broken? Thanks and greetings from Italy. Patrizio

Anytime you have lines in your monitor there are things to check:
Is the video card seated properly?
Is it the LCD Screen that is bad? (Try connecting your machine to an external monitor and see if you still have the band, if you don't it is time for a new LCD screen.)
Any internal cables / connections going from the video card / GPU to the LCD are properly seated.
