Something wrong with Windows 7

I shut down windows 7, it was acting regular and everything was good. I boot it up and now nothing is on the task bar, i cant pin anything to the task bar, none of my folders are there, and none of the applications are in the start menu, java, directX, and direct3D don't work. I am using VMware fusion 5

any ideas?

Intel core 2 duo, 5.1, running os 10.7.5

PLEASE help me fix this problem

ok, reinstalled, works better, now it says it is not GENUINE!. it even says GENUINE on the cd! what should i do about this? it says the product key sticker is invalid and i have THREE days left.

now it got a virus called : win 7 smart defender pro

cant reinstall windows, got spyhunter on memory stick and it wont open because of win 7 smartdefender pro blocks it, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Hey Ted, what I would do first is boot your pc into "SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING". After you do that, look for updates with windows. If there are no updates, that may be all well and good, reboot in regular mode and see if it resolved the issue by itself. And if all else fails you might want to try a full system restore.
