Are MacBook parts of different manufacturing years interchangeable?

I have two MacBooks Intel Core 2 Duo:

The 41 month old (Nov. 2006):

1.83 GHz, Combo Drive, 2 x 1GB DDR2 667 MHz SRDRAMs.

The 30 month old (October 2007):

2.2 GHz, Super Drive, 2 x 2GB DDR2 667 MHz SRDRAMs. This one has not only some dark spots (dust?) behind the monitor pane but also a pixel failure.

1. question: Can I install the superdrive into the 41 month old device?

2. question: Is it possible to use the display of the older MacBook old for the younger one?

3. question: Will the 41 month old accept without any problems the two 2GB DDR2 667 MHz SRDRAMs of the 30 month old?

Thank you
