Need help in deciding what to do with two liquid damaged laptops.
I have a bit complicated situation here, hope you can help.
I have the following laptops:
- MacBook Air 11" Late 2010 (A1370)
- MacBook Air 13" Late 2010 (A1369)
- MacBook Air 11" Mid 2012 (A1465)
MacBook Air 11" Late 2010 (A1370)
- Some water was spilled over the keyboard.
- The power button is absent and it is not possible to press it, the white rubber thingy is absent too.
- Does not power up.
- When plugged in, the power adapter shows the orange light probably meaning the laptop is charging.
- When removed the back panel, there are no obvious indicators of corrosion on the logic board etc.
- I couldn't find where LSI indicators are located in this model, but I don't see any red dots there.
MacBook Air 13" Late 2010 (A1369)
- Works well (can it be used to access SSDs from two other laptops?)
MacBook Air 11" Mid 2012 (A1465)
- The logic board is filled with yoghurt.
- SSD seems to be untouched, though there are orange dots in bottom left and top right corners.
What I'd like to do is to try and fix anything I can with as less expenses as possible. Ideally I'd like to get the data from both Macbook Airs 11" SSDs, and hopefully buy and replace an uppercase in MacBook Air 11" Late 2010 which seems to be repairable.
I'd like to know your opinion about what can be done with those three laptops.
Thank you!
