Airport Signal strength weak & inconsistant.

I connect to an Airport wirelessly from my MacBook Pro via the internal Airport Extreme card. My signal only works if I'm in a 10' radius or less. And even then It drops the connection sporadically and regularly. I am wondering if the card is no good or is it probable that it's only the antenna?

This problem has been DRIVING ME NUTS! What do i need to replace? (Preferably not the buried antenna.)

Side note: I have full signal strength on my iPhone anywhere in my home.

Please help!

Go to your local Starbucks. Get a cup of coffee and hook up to their network and see how it works. Then you can tell if it's your machine or your wireless modem.

So I have full signal strength on my iPhone anywhere in my home but not the computer. And I did try Starbucks. Same thing.
