iPhone4 will only work when plugged into wall charger

after 2 months with a trouble free ifixit battery replacement installed my iphone suddenly will not charge,

plugged into wall charger it works fine.

will not work plugged into mac USB, except was able to a sync before it died again

is it a bad battery or a dirty battery connector?

or other?

BTW: no water or dropped events

Will not charge, regardless of where you plug it in? Could be a bad battery or a bad dock connector.

found the problem: dock connector on iphone filled with lint, used letter paper folded to the width of the connector soaked in alcohol to gently brush the lint out of the connector, seems to work now
