My Power Mac no longer responds to the Power button on the front of the case. Removing the AC cord and reinserting it allows for one power up via the button on the front panel. Any ideas / real solutions would be appreciated.

As a Work Around: Use System Preferences->Energy Saver:schedule a wakeup.

If it's booting up all the way. Check your date and time. If they are wrong, replace the 3.6 volt PRAM battery. See the purple battery in step #5 of this guide: Power Mac G4 MDD PCI Cards Replacement
