There is a possibility that it can be fixed. More than likely there is corrosion on the LCD ribbon which is keeping the screen from displaying. Your going to need to clean the corrosion off before you know if the phone can be recovered or needs new parts.
You'll need:
-91% isopropyl alcohol
-Qitps
-soft bristle tooth brush( children's tooth brushes are best)
-(Optional) Compressed air, it will help with drying off components that need to be cleaned.
-And of course you'll need the tools to teardown down your phone.
Once you get your phone apart carefully look over your mother board and all the connections for your digitizer,LCD, volume ect...
If you see any corrosion take your qtip or tooth brush and clean as much as you can. Even if you dont see any corrosion on the connectors, just for good measure, clean all the connections anyway just to make sure.
When your satisfied with what you've cleaned, reassemble and check for any improvement.
Not a guarantee but its definitely worth a shot :)
