put bald tire,and new tire , it actives 4x4 demage

4x4 electonic on 03 kia sorento very pickey,it breaks if you use it any place but mud, Had a tire replaced .New tire was a bit higher , and it activated 4x4 electronic servo and ...loud hum , then clater , then lock up ...major demage is obvious , but still run , cant drive very far anymore
