I recently purchased a replacement keyboard top case and followed all the instructions on here. I am very thankful for that. However I have one issue. All the keys work in exception for the up arrow key. Is there a simple fix that I could do so I don't have to send it back?

No.. the keyboard is itself a form of printed circuit board and if damaged there's not really a DIY fix. If this was a recycled top case the vendor should make it good.

Thank you. I have since then replaced the entire top-case with new one. It was very simple and IFIXIT facilitated with my replacement.

Thanks... I was hoping I wouldn't have to have it sent back for replacement. But it looks like I will have to.
