After YLOD repair, controller won't connect

Hi,

I successfully used the YLOD repair kit from ifixit to repair my overheated PS3. Everything seems to work great, except the PS3 controllers will not wirelessly connect to the system. I tried resetting the controllers and also tried pressing the PS3 button down for awhile after connecting with a USB cable with no luck. Any other advice?

Can your PS3 connect to WiFi?

It sounds like you forgot to hook up the bluetooth/ wifi cable

I took it apart last weekend to check it out and the ribbon that connects the bluetooth/wifi cable popped right out...so you're right jzpittm. At least it was an easy fix. Thanks!
