I replaced the charging port ribbon cable and since then the mic on the bottom doesn't work.. Siri and speaker work just fine, but no normal calls.. Is there a fix for that? or maybe a well known problem on replacement ribbon cables thats might be factory broken?

Try a soft reset if you haven't already. It's sometimes necessary to do this after putting a new part in. It could be a faulty part but then again there could have been a problem while you were in the repair. Check to make sure there are no minor tears where the mic is. Make sure the mic is clear from any dirt and such. That's about all you can do. If everything looks perfect it could be a faulty part. You should try the part in another phone to be sure.

Hi! I replaced the part again to be sure... Still the same problem so I suppose there should be another problem, where is the mic connected? maybe a connection that is broken? When I shout really loud (voice recording) I can hear my voice in the background. Can anybody tell me where the small washers under the ribbon are for? I'm pretty desperate now.. This is the first time repairing a iphone, i've got absolutely no clue what to do... And this time it's my own phone!!!
