Maximum size of upgrade hard drive
Can I upgrade my MacBook Pro from late 2011 with a 2TB replacement drive?

As long as it fits!
You need a 2.5" sized drive and the height drive has to be 9.5 mm or smaller.
Currently I know of only of one drive that would work for you: Seagate's Samsung HDD Division Ships World's Thinnest 2TB Storage Solution.

It appears that it's not currently released as of yet. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it for sale just yet. I found a few variations on the price, both reasonable. If anyone can find where it's available please let me know. I'm hoping it's out by next week.
