Right side of screen has a "dead vertical line"

Hi there,

I have this HTC Incredible S (Known also as Droid Incredible 2 in USA), I have tried 3 different touch screens and everytime I run into same problem.

There is a vertical line in the right side of the screen which is non-responsive. It makes it impossible to hit "O" when writing a message and also impossible to hit the "search" button (one of the 4 lower buttons).

The buttons beside "O" works with no problem, and "O" works in horizontal mode.

I have tried recalibrating the touch from menu, resetting calibration, factory reset phone, checking that the lcd and digitizer is aligned corectly on eachother, cleaning the socket where the touchscreen flex is put into the motherboard and also I have tried "cleaning" the area between touchscreen and bezel...

The phone is stock (not rooted, and so on)

What might cause this ? I'm kind of out of ideas.
