There is a short in my screen

My laptop, Mac Air, fell and hit its corner. Both the base and the top have small corner dents. Something must have loosened, because the screen goes dim unless I apply pressure to the screeen.

Study the Guide for your particular model. Depending on which corner you're talking about the LVD connector could be lose.
