It works fine on fully charged battery for 4 hours!
When charger is plugged in it lights up green, as the power drops it turns amber, but it doesn't charge.
When the battery lost all power it doesn't boot with charger plugged in.
The charger works fine in my iBook 1 Ghz.
My guess is that it is not the DC board,
Do I have to change 'logic board' ?
Can somebody advice me please?

I would suspect the battery first. What does system profiler:power-battery tell you about the number of cycles and state of the battery?

Sounds to me like you have a new battery. New batteries have been know to go bad right out of the box. Can you see if the battery charges in in a different Macbook, or do you have the old battery you can put in and see if it works?
I' e got three batteries; 3 cycle, 192 cycle and 532 cycles, Charged the two older in
in two differen iBooks with no result, also tried a differnt DC-board.
What do You thinn about a change of logicboard?

The battery has 3 cycles , 100% charged (mAh) 4525. Volt (mV)11599 . Does this make sence or do You require other info?
