Device won't charge with OEM cable.

I have a customers Jailbroken iPhone 5 (verizon) and I replaced the power volume flex on it. Upon finishing the repair it was fine. Everything was working. 2 hours later he called the shop and complained that it wasn't charging and giving him an error. Now we went and bought several 2 non-apple chargers and 2 OEM chargers from the apple store. All of them gave the same error that he had at home. What could this be? No PC or MAC can detect it. We've swapped at least 5 charge ports on it and still the same results. The Speakers, Mic, Headphones and Home Button all work. Anyone have any clues.

Also I'm not sure if we can we can remove a jailbreak without being able to connect to a PC.

EDIT: I also changed the battery a few times to make sure that wasn't causing issues also.
