Sreen goes blank for 3-4 sec
My laptop works great except a occaally the screen goes a dark gray for 3-4 seconds, then comes back. Any ideas? Thanks.

Could be the GPU
Graphics chip, OR it cold be cables shorting. There's "known issues" with the solder joints failing over time on these graphic chips. Shimming helps, reflowing the solder is a temporary cure. Damaged cables can be replaced.
