How do I make the music stop playing wired through my earphones?

My music keeps playing in a wired way through my earphones i dont know what to do. The music sounds strange while playing only workd when i hold it to a certain angle. My music plays perfeclty when theres No earphones. What do i do??????

Thank you. Is there an easier way to sort this because im 13 and know where to get a new head phone jack and all the supplies needed. So if you know any easier ways please comm

Ok, after some research I found out that this is a common occurence with the Samsung Galaxy 4. Many have heard popping and distortion with the headphones especially towards the maximum volume. The solution a lot of people had found, as well as tested on multiple Samsung Galaxy 4 phones, was all that was needed was a firmware update that Samsung had actually fixed due to a software issue. I would suggest doing that first before anything else as many people believed it to be a hardware issue, but just needed a firmware update. Let me know if this solves your problem and I will continue to help you with further guidance.
