What are the problems for an iPhone 5 to not power on?

Hello,

my Iphone 5 does not power on when I hold the power button. So i thought that the flex cable from the power button is the problem. I replaced it and the phone still does not power on.

If i connect the phone with iTunes it gets on and it shows the iTunes logo.

Also I can not restore the phone, probably because of a jailbreak? I do not know this because I bought it from someone.

In addition the home button does not work , too.

What do you think is the problem?

does it fire up any errors when its trying to restore

no errors it just say that itunes could not restore this phone.

i think there is a problem with the U3 chip.

De luna before you jump to blaming the motherboard I would try a new battery it can cause a phone not to restore! Also put the phone in dfu mode and try the restore

I tried today again to restore the phone with iTunes and I get error 21.

Both power and home button do not work thats why I think that there is a problem with the U3 chip.

I no a error 21 is a battery error

But if power and home have stoped working then yes it's a board problem but a new battery will make the phone restore and will be usable

Yes I belive it's possible I don't do board repairs myself but there is a woman on here that does called Jessabethany she has extensive knowledge on board repairs want will be happy to help
