My computer is not reading CD's, what should I do?

When I inset any type of CD into my optical drive, whether it be a DVD or game, my laptop does not read the disc.

You may need to replace your optical drive. Look here.

Your optical drive may need to be replaced. Also you might want to clean the laser on the drive and see if that helps.
