Any luck on replacing a Dock Connector?
Attempted twice and afterwards the device fails to initialize that the charger has been connected.
Anyone had any luck with replacement?

The dock conector that was replaced is original or at least a good quality?
Can also be a component that is responsible for identifying the cable does not work in this case would be very hard to fix it ... unless there the same component on the iPhone 5/5S and then to replace it buy soldering

The dock connectors were purchased from etrade supply, so I would consider them pretty good quality. The solder tech I had replace the dock connectors is one of the best soldering techs I have seen with over 20 year experience. I inspected his work under microscope and the soldering job is flawless.
I have received the cable error message a few times when connecting the lightning cable to the device. I have ruled out cable brands as I have tried OEM, MFi certified, and other ones; still comes up with an error message.
Which component do you think I should consider looking into to replace?
