Why won't my Samsung Galaxy Y charge?

I rooted my Galaxy Y like 5/6 months ago but unfortunately, it's bricked. and i just left the phone like that until this day. I want to flash it to the stock ROM, but I can't because it doesn't have any battery left. I tried to charge it using my laptop (usb)(too bad i dont have the original charger and i cant use any other charger to charge the phone), but it's stuck on the battery loading screen. How to solve this?

When the phone had battery before, it can be restarted but stuck at the samsung logo.
