My ps2 slimline seems to shut off during a game.

When I have tried to play certain games on my ps2 slimline, after a certain time, the system will automatically shut down.

There are 3 games I have, which has happened to me:

Ford racing 3, burnout 3, and more recently, gran turismo 4.

For the first 2, just before the race starts it will shut down.

After racing in gt 4, it can shut down.

Wonder if I should get it fixed, and what kind of places will be able to fix it or provide parts to do so myself.

If anyone else has had this issue with their games, please help me out. I need a cheap solution.
