Why is my earphone ,speaker,microfone not working

When a headset is plugged into the headset jack, it mutes all the three audio components letting the audio runs through the headset. When all these components stop working, it can only mean that the headset jack is shorted out. By cleaning the headset jack with Denatured alcohol, it will removed what's shorting out the headset jack. If that doesn't work, re-soldered on the headset jack pins. And if that doesn't work, replace the headset jack.
