How to repair fallen shutter button on Canon Powershot SX160 IS?

Shutter button on my SX160 IS fell off. Won't go back in solidly. Can only take one pic at a time because it comes off again. Also, it will not zoom. How fix this?

I have same problem - have to press the shutter with a wooden pick.

Now the shutter switch is so far gone, I can't take a picture at all. Very sorry that this camera is JUNK - I've previously enjoyed and been a loyal Canon user.
