MacBook bootup issue\chime sound looping with Grey Screen

Hello,

I have Macbook Air mid 2011 (13 inches display) and while booting it goes in loop with chime sound heard again and again. I have already tried several combinations to boot it up in recovery mode, safe mode, reset NVRAM and SMC reset but nothing is really working.

Can anyone please suggest something?

Some history of the problem (first appearance, suspected cause) also what OS you're using would be helpful for us.
