Hi
I have a broken screen however I can naviagate around the menu and select a few (Only on the bottom half of the cracked screen) apps
What kind of repair do I need
Please help

As long as you see your display working all u need is just to replace the digitizer

The display works and as I said I can select a few aps,there is no damage to the colours at all
Is the digitizer cracked screen?
Is the procedure for replacement of the digitizer the same as for both digitzer and lcd?

Mike, it is possible to separate the digitizer and the LCD. But, definitely not easy, you are runnig a great risk of breaking the LCD. You could use and LCD separator machine and it would yield better results. Once separated, you will still have to adhere it together. Unless you have worked with (L)OCA before, it can be a mess and a PITA to get to fit and cure properly. If you have not done this type of repair, I suggest that you replace the whole assembly. It will be cheaper and have a greater chance of success. Hope this helps, good luck.

This... if you have the correct machine/moulds and experience it's not as difficult, but with your average heat gun and pry tool you will damage something. The LCD can be purchased for £25 anyway

I haven't tried before to disassamble Sony but only Nokia N9 and HTC Desire.
Problem is that I bought from USA only digitizer before realize the full problem of replacement in Sony Z C6603.
Maybe I could give it a try and if no success then buy the complete set from England about 50£ inclusive freight?
Too expensive in Denmark!

That's to be dispatched from the UK, they will import the screen from China in bulk and then sell for considerably more. If you buy directly from the supplier in China it will be £25 (same quality screen in most cases, find a good seller) but will take 2 weeks. I picked an Xperia Z up for £25 yesterday with a faulty digitizer and bought a screen for the same cost on Aliexpress.
