Freezes when pressure is applied to the central left underside.

Recently, my friend stepped on my computer. The screen cracked. I noticed that if I picked up the computer while using it, sometimes these multicolor horizontal bars would flit across the screen and then the computer would completely crash with the only solution rebooting. I got a completely new screen but the problem was still there. It only crashes when you put pressure on the underside of the computer about where the capslock/shift/tab buttons are. If you remove the battery and run it from a power source it is fine. However, I have switched out a few batteries and the problem remains with each one...

Cracked logic board, or shorting against the bent bottom of the case. Remove the bottom and ensure that it is not bent or dished upward. The bottoms are aluminum and can be deformed easily - that also means it's easy to push/flatten back into place. Wood blocks or auto body tools can straighten an case deformity quickly and easily.

If you see no uniformity look for a cracked or lose component. That side of the board has the CPU heat sink & fan also the HD. Check over those parts & connectors.

STOP FLEXING/crashing the board. You should not be walking around with computer in your hands it should be on a solid flat surface. Each time you cause a crash you risk/are doing more damage to the HD and possibly other computer parts.
