Fridge won't dispense water, ice and won't turn on evaporator fan

I've checked all the door switches, replaced the caps on the control board and no success. In test mode each item works. The fan comes on, the ice maker works and the water comes out. But in regular mode those 3 things do not. The lights all work properly on all 3 switches. (1 each on the french doors and the one in the freezer.) What else would stop all 3 things?

My GE Fridge has ice building up in the Freezer and the ice works only on crushed not cubed water works fine just no cubed ice and the ice build up and after that it does not keep anything Frozen or cold!

Pull the ice bucket out. Shut the door and select cube ice and press a glass as if to get a glass of ice. Open door and put ice bucket back in. That should correct the problem.

Notice the metal rod on back of ice bucket, it goes into the square opening at the back of freezer. Behind that square opening is a solenoid that will pull up a lever or let the lever down depending on what is selected-crushed or cubed. You can open the freezer door, take out the ice bucket, hold the door/light switch in and press cube or crushed ice and press the dispenser lever and watch the solenoid pull the lever up or down.

If you don't see that happening you could have a bad solenoid. Don't attempt to test or repair anything with the refrigerator plugged in! Electricity can kill you.

Sounds like your in "demo" mode and not operating mode.

Todd-is this a Samsung? All sensors, door switches etc are bypassed in test mode. Including the magnetic switches. Some bottom freezers have another switch that the drawer activates. It's on the left side a little more than half way back. Some have several magnetic switches on the top of fresh food doors near the hinge. Run a magnet slowly across the top. Models with a pantry drawer have several along the track.

Get me the model number and I can be more help.

No it is a GE tyvm
