Gateway NE522 Laptop not displaying boot logo?

I have my Gateway Laptop and its already have a problem with restarting, when i click restart it will going to display restart and its loading but not boot up. when i boot the laptop again it configure and update itself. then it supposed to restart but not continue because it doesn't restart. when i boot again the dash on the screen appear but the logo still not fading in. and the dash still there. it doesn't display anything then dash. what should i do? can i go to safe mode? how?
