Altura Photo (AP-UNV1) Speedlite Flash doesn't fire at all

Thanks to the recent answer by waid mohammed My nikon D5100 which was only working in live mode now works. However the flash still doesn't work, even the Altura Photo (AP-UNV1) Speedlite Flash doesn't fire
