Why will my device not focus when capturing pictures?

A lower end smartphone released in March, 2014 running the Android operating system. Also known as Nokia Normandy, Noxia A110, and Nokia X Dual SIM RM-980. Repair of this device is similar to other smart phones and requires a screwdriver and prying tools.

Why will my device not focus when capturing pictures?

Recently I've begun to notice that when trying to take a pictures with my device, I am typically unable to get a clear picture. Everything through the lens appears to be covered in a haze.

In order to fix this problem, first insure that the camera lens is not merely dirty or smudged. After cleaning the lens, if the problem still persist, you may need to replace the camera component. Take a look at the troubleshooting guide here.
