One of the million reasons a MacBook Pro refuses to power on?

Hello again,

I have here a Macbook Pro 820-2330-A 2009 15" that refuses to turn on at all. No light on the magsafe shows, battery connected doesn't do anything, SMC bypass doesn't help; there is absolutely no sign of life coming from it. To make matters worse I am unable to find a .brd and pdf file for this model. It's like they disappeared off the net. To be honest, I don't know where to start except to say I've checked the DC jack fuse and most of the surrounding circuit to see that they are functional to the best of my knowledge. But I'm flying blind on this one. Any suggestions? Links?

Update

The A1286 Model is what I'm getting from the bottom lid with no serial number on it. The EMC # on the board is not visible anywhere. Hopefully these pictures help.

Can you give us the last four digits of the serial or EMC number if you can see it on the bottom cover. How about a set of pictures so we can see the details of the system.

Going by the board number it should be a A1342 MacBook "Core 2 Duo" 2.26 13" (Uni/Late 09). I'd wait to see what jessabethany and Louis Rossman have to say

The EMC # on this board is as good as a guess as your is on this one.

Do you have power on the power_pads?

If it's the pads closest to the left of the keyboard backlight cable then yes I have approx. 1.34v on the left most pin.
