For glass repairs, after I remove the LOCA glue. Touch does not work

I recently started glass only repairs, at least I'm trying to. Every time I seperate the glass from the lcd no problem. Test the lcd and digitizer and everything works fine. I then proceed to remove the loca glue and clean the lcd. Once the screen is squeaky clean I then go ahead and test the screen again (I have does this with numerous screens) all with the same result. No response to touch!!! I am using loca remover I bought from eBay. Is the solvent causing the digitizer the be no responsive or is something else the culprit? Any help would be much appreciated.
