Digitizer doesn't work after replacing

Hi.

Yesterday I replaced digitizer in my Nexus 7 (1st gen) tablet. I separated LCD from the glass, remove the glue from the LCD and after that I glued digitizer to the front frame.

I did not glue the LCD to anything, I only made sure it will be on its place by using a duct tape.

After that, the touch screen doesn't work at all. The LCD is working and I'm able to change volume and everything seems to work correctly except the touch.

Is there anything else I should do to make it work? Or maybe the new digitizer is broken?
