So I been having this motorola motto g and when I go to charge it, it says connect to charger when it's connected and the battery percent goes down like every 2 minutes and sometimes it will charge then quit charging unexpectedly and I charge it overnight and I wake up and it's at like 30% I just need help cause it's making me irritated and it's not the charger cause the charger works on other devices so please help!!!

If the charger and cable work normal, there are two parts left you need to check. One is the battery and the other is charging port.Try another battery or charging port.
If all above work failed, it's probably the problem of charging IC.
