How to fix iPhone 6 red screen issue
the phone’s screen turns red and gets stuck with on an Apple logo on screen when they are using their iPhone. how can i fix this issue?

Dissconect the camera cable from motherboard and restart your iPhone.it will work. Try to change your camera if you can do by yourself.thanks

Thanks, it worked. For others you can find the camera on ebay for around 3-4 bucks :)

by the way which camera you mean front or back?

I was getting a red screen that flashed briefly before loop booting (froot looping?) back to the Apple Logo. I tried to restore 10 times before it finally worked. I disconnected the Front Camera Flex on the last three attempts.

This is the issue I am having with a FFC assembly that has an apple logo on the flex, but an aftermarket manufacture stamp on the top of the connection.
The iPhone 6 plus I am working on only frootloops when I plug in the FFC assembly. I was really hoping someone might have come up with a solution for this. I am going to try more FFC, but am concerned about the others I have doing the samething.
Anyone had this happen with an iFixit FFC assembly on an iPhone 6 Plus?
Edit: one other detail for this phone for me, this iphone 6 plus has ios 10.o beta 8 on it. From what I have read, there is nothing different from the final beta to the release expected today (09/12/16). Does this mean that Apple has implemented a slue of programming intended to deflect aftermarket parts?
i tried doing this but I keep getting error 9 in itunes.

Is the phone jailbroken. Does it pop up on itunes when plugged in?
If it pops up on itunes do a hard reset. hold the sleep and home down together until you see the "Plug into itunes" icon.

alot of times the red screen or blue screen is a result of damage to the screws in the con shield over the lcd cables(screws set in the wrong place or direct damage to the logic board in the screw hole) or your camera flex cable is broken. at least in my experience

Most likely damage to the logic board or flex cable. iPhones don't have screw sensors that I'm aware of.

this problem seems like your front camera flex cable is not apple oem .
if you change the front camera flex cable to new oem , it is going to be solved

customer brought phone in, i noticed a red sensor by the top front camera,
water damaged, so i cleaned the motherboard with iso alchohol, and let it dry after about 10 restores it finally went through, i noticed people said it has to do with the camera, however i tried both connected and disconnected, finally at the end i plugged everything back in place and put screws back in
tried 2 more times and it finally went through, took about 45 minutes for a restore.

i had the problem 4 times changing screen...i don't connect the camera flex cable anymore,then at least i can still use it! The only prob with that is that you won't have reverse camera(still take photo's from front camera),no speaker,only loud speaker and no face time??!!

I replaced a screen on an iPhone 6plus and the front facing camera sound died. So I replaced the flex cable for the front camera. The first one I used caused the red screen rebooting. I replaced it with another flex cable for the front camera assembly and it’s working just fine!

For iPhone 6 red screen issue, try:
- Restart iPhone 6;
- Force restart iPhone 6;
- Put the iPhone 6 into recovery mode and use iTunes to restore it;
- Try iPhone system recovery like Joyoshare UltFix iOS System Recovery. It can recover your iPhone to normal without data loss;
- Ask Apple for support if there is something wrong with the iPhone hardware.

Hey,
If you still haven’t solve the problem, just try these tips:
First of all, try rebooting to see if the error still exists.
Then, do a hard reset iphone.
Retoring or updating iphone.
If all these ways don’t work, you need to restore data from the iphone before taking other technical solutions.

This happened to me as well. I found these methods to fix iPhone red screen of death.
1. Restart or Reboot Your iPhone
2. Reset the iPhone
3. Restore/Update the iPhone
4. Use RecoveryTool Fix Recovery
5. Go to an Apple store (For hardware problem)
