Am I able to replace my Panasonic DMC-ZS8 camera lens?

Hello,

I recently dropped my camera on a hardwood floor in my friends house the other day and unfortunatly it cracked my camera lens. I would like to know if it is possible for me to replace it or do I have to buy another camera (something I really do not want to do).

Hello Elijah,

Oh no! We are sorry to hear about your camera! No need to worry! We here at ifixit see these issues often and are equipped with the knowledge and capability to help customers move in the right direction!

-First what you will want to do is get a Phillips Head screwdriver and remove the screws from the back of the camera.

-Next, remove the back panel and unplug the copper wires connected to the motherboard.

-After that your lens should pop right on out!
