Can I use a different watt power adapter?
I lost the 90W 20V power adapter that came with my T400s laptop. Could I use a power adapter from a T430S interchangeably? It is a 65W 20V power adapter.

Esther Chen, it will take a bit longer to charge your battery etc, but you should not have any big issues with that. Only thing you want to check is that it does not get to hot in case your T400 pulls to many amps.

Yes, both power adapters should work fine for the Thinkpad. However, there may be limitations for the 65W power adapter: the battery will take longer to recharge and it might not be powerful enough for certain types of usage (ex. watching a DVD while at the same time running HDD intensive applications).
