Home and power button not working

Hi,

I have a iphone 5 which i recently replaced the screen. Screen works fine but the home and power buttons do not function. I have checked the Q3 ic and others and all seem to be intact with no damage and i did not take the battery out, just disconnected it.

I put back the original screen and still no luck. Any suggestions?
