Battery condition "Replace Now" after water spillage

Hi,

yesterday we spilled water over a MacBook Air 11".

I immediately shut it down and opened it to unplug the battery.

It seemed to have water only in the front part of the machine.

I removed the battery, dried the keyboard, checked that the mainboard is not wet and let it opened for hours.

Result:

- MacBook is starting with power adapter plugged in

- AHT is fine

- All keys, wifi etc is working

Problem:

The MacBook is only working with the power adapter. As soon as I unplug the system is down.

Battery Information is as follows …

Model Information:

Serial Number: removed

Manufacturer: DP

Device Name: bq20z451

Pack Lot Code: 0

PCB Lot Code: 0

Firmware Version: 301

Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 3931

Do I need to replace the battery; I don't think so.

Is the MagSafe board defect? Or the logic board?

The light on the power cable is normal green.

The device does not make any strange noises.

I would appreciate any help!

Thanks,

Mike
