My Macbook pro is toast thanks to the logic board, im in the process of opening up and taking the ram and hard drive out.. but i want to know what other parts are worth taking out and selling online etc?

It's kind important to know if you have a market for parts in New Zealand. Is there an eBay? Besides what has been listed already there is a demand for the AC adapter, the mag port, the display, all the cables. the optical drive, the screws. The whole thing parted out is probably worth more than you could buy a complete replacement for. Just click on the parts list under the MacBook icon to your right.

The topcase/keyboard and the screen are sought after parts. The bottom case, if in good condition, might be interesting for somebody who dropped his MBP. The battery can be sold if still in good condition.

i am in New Zealand so they dont take from outside the states. Out of interest what would ifixit take for the whole unit with just the logic board broken, late 2006 model general wear and tear from max use :) Thanks
Ask them for a quote. You can sell pretty much everything, HDD, Keyboard, LCD, case components are probably the most scrapped parts, but you can sell anything that comes from that. What people often do though is sell it as one unit for parts, you´ll find many computers and iPods people sell on eBay which just have a bad logic board, people then use those for parts or replace the logic board themselves.
