Optical Bay HDD not recognized

I recently purchased a HDD Unibody Laptop Dual Drive / Upgrade Kit from Ifixit but when I put it in my computer the hard drive isn't recognized.

You can hear that the drive spins up but it does not show on Disk Utility.

I also tried an SSD but I have the same issue.

This only happens when the disks are on the caddy. On the system report

Both disks are recognized when plugged to the original HDD slot.

Im using a Macbook pro 15" early 2011
