Another way to turn it on?
Is there a trick or something to turn on an iBook without the button? I damaged the cable of the button and i just want to know if there is another way.

I have had this problem before and I found that there was no other way.
You could try soldering a wire onto where the connection should be (2 contacts on logic board top near modem) and then soldering the connector for the power button onto the ends of the wires, this has worked in the past.
