What part(s) do I need to buy?
My backlight is broken. Screen is working. Its just dark and flickers only when I wiggle it. I disassembled it and checked the cables. They do not appear frayed or broken.

That sounds like a connector issue, but it could be due to some minor damage in the cables as well.
I suggest starting with replacing the display data cable: MacBook Display Data Cable
If that doesn't work, it might be the connections within the display assembly that aren't working, in which case you can try to replace the whole thing with either this for a non-Santa Rosa model: MacBook 13.3" Core 2 Duo Display Assembly or this for a Santa Rosa model: MacBook 13.3" Santa Rosa/Penryn Display Assembly
And if neither of those work you might be looking at a faulty connection on the logic board.
