X Battery after Trackpad adjustment

Hi,

My MacBook's trackpad wasn't clicking properly on the left side, so I found a guide on how to tighten/loosen the screw behind the battery to make it better.

The trackpad now clicks brilliantly.

But since, the battery displays a X through the menu bar symbol, I have performed an SMC reset, which hasn't changed anything.

I've also tried unplugging and plugging the battery back in again.

Any ideas?

what color is the X?

It's just the battery symbol with an X through it in black. When I click on it it says No Battery Available.
